What does Rooftop Slushie do?

We connect you with a professional that can provide the information and insights you need. Approved users can post projects (set of questions) and will only pay for answers from the professionals who are approved.

I’m not familiar with your type of service, how is it useful to me?

As modern day professionals, a significant portion of our responsibilities is to filter through information and find the right answers and insights before it's too late. Sure, there is a lot of free information out there - but it tends to be general or irrelevant. There is an abundance of specialized information within existing human capital and experience.

What are the "PRO" badges?

Our "Professionals" have PRO badges. These Professionals have their work experience and place of employment verified.

How are Professionals verified?

Professionals are verified as employees using a company email verification system. We also verify their experience by reviewing at their LinkedIn profile or resumé. This ensures whoever is answering your question is actually qualified to answer your questions.

How much does it cost?

You can set a price that matches your budget when you submit a project. You can set a price as low as $5 per project but please keep in mind that the price may affect the likelihood of receiving a response.

Note: All purchases are subject to a non-refundable service fee of 5% on total purchase amount. This helps us operate our platform and offer 24/7 customer support for your orders.

Why do I have to pay right now?

Before we show your project proposal to Professionals who can answer your questions, we need to make sure that the project is adequately funded. Rest assured, we will charge you only when you get an answer. If you don't get an answer, you'll get a full refund.

Can I ask follow up questions?

Yes! Absolutely! You'll have up to three days to communicate with your provider and make sure your questions are thoroughly answered.

What if I’m not satisfied?

If you don’t like the applicants, there is absolutely no charge to decline. If you failed to connect with any respondent by the deadline you set, you can choose to get a full refund.

If you select someone and are dissatisfied with the answers you get, you can use the Feedback System. You can give feedback using the comments you confirm the answer. We recommend using the Feedback System to work things out with your counterparts before contacting Customer Support.

Does my refund include the service fee?

No, Rooftop Slushie does not refund the service fee to your balance. If you placed an order through PayPal or credit card, a transaction fee is charged. The service fee helps subsidize the costs Rooftop Slushie incurs from payment solution providers and services to promote your question to qualified professionals.

Interested in answering questions on Rooftop Slushie?

Create your own profile, verify your company, write a short bio and apply for questions you would like to answer. Once you are approved, you can begin to write your answer. Upon completion, there will be a three day period where the Requester can comment and ask follow-up questions to ensure that their questions are completely answered.

Is it anonymous? Am I protected?

It is anonymous and we leave it up to you to how much of your identity you would like to disclose. Choose a username, write a short bio and set up your expertise tags. Be sure to make sure whatever information does not go against any compliance or non-disclosure agreement from your employer.

How long does it take for me to receive payment for a project?

Requesters pay Rooftop Slushie in advance for projects. Once the project is created and available, users who participate in the project must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the Answer Now button (located on the project page).

Once work is delivered, the requester has three days to confirm and post a review. If no response is provided within the confirmation period, the project will be considered complete. After the project is marked as complete, you will have to wait 7 days until you can withdraw your funds.

If I answer a question, are there any fees?

When you answer a question, Rooftop Slushie takes a 30% platform fee. We use this to for marketing the platform, finding people to ask questions, and offer discounts to first-time users.

If you answer enough questions and qualify to become a PRO, we'll subsidize your fees to 15%.
