After you post your resume and the positions you're interested in, employees from that company will be able to view your resume and decide whether to refer you. If you’re a great fit, they’ll reach out and offer a referral. They'll ask what information they need and you should receive a referral within a couple of days!
Referrals greatly increase your chances of landing an interview. While referrals tend to be one of the smallest sources of applicants, it is one of the largest sources of actual hires. We found that your relationship with the referrer does not matter, unless you are applying to a senior management role.
Your profile is only visible to your potential referrers. Ex. if you request for Google referrals, only verified Google employees can see your profile and resume.
Yes! Most companies will send you an email notification with the next steps.
First you should double check if the notification email went to your spam box.
You can also ask your Referrer for a screenshot of a referral confirmation.
If you have, in fact, received a referral but have not received an interview request,
there's a chance the company might have passed on your application.
If you do not receive a referral from your referrer at all, please send us your inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org for a refund.
While we can guarantee that you receive an employee referral, it is ultimately up to the company to decide whether they would like to interview you. We recommend getting your resume reviewed by an employee to gauge your chances before requesting a referral.
