Senior Software Engineer
1.From a technical perspective, how does Amazon gage if an individual would best fit a Sr Solutions Architect role?
2.What kind of questions should I expect? Should I prepare for system design questions? Do they ask CS fundamentals/coding OR is more focused on AWS?
3.What’s the expected TC range for a L6 solutions architect at Amazon?

Hi, I have an Amazon Salesforce Administrator Phone screen coming up The interview says a live coding session for 1 hour for an Admin Position. My understanding was that for an Admin position there will be configuration type technical questions as opposed to coding.
I am the Senior Solutions Architect at a small MSP working mostly in small to medium businesses dealing primarily with on-prem infrastructure; we do very little cloud work. I am involved in a lot of pre-sales engineering, systems design and implementation, top-tier escalations, and I am comfortable talking with C-suite executives. I have 6 yoe and I live in Los Angeles. I would like to transition to a Solutions Architect (or similar) role at one of the big three cloud providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google) or really any FAANG or FAANG-tier company. I got all the way through an on-site interview at Amazon for Enterprise Solutions Architect but did not get the job. I have a good friend at Amazon who referred me. I have been studying quite a bit and will be taking the AWS Solutions Architect- Associate level certification exam on Thursday. I would like some advice on how to get from where I'm at to where I want to be. This is my first question on Rooftop Slushie. I thoroughly appreciate your time!
